Ye Settles Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Filed by Former Assistant Lauren Pisciotta
Ye, the rapper and fashion mogul formerly known as Kanye West, has reached an unconditional settlement in a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who accused him of multiple instances of sexual abuse and assault during the year she worked for him.

According to court documents, the civil lawsuit will be withdrawn within 45 days after the parties reached the settlement on July 23. The agreement was submitted to a Los Angeles court on Wednesday, although the terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
Pisciotta served as an assistant to the rapper and Yeezy mogul from 2021 to 2022. In her initial filing submitted in June 2024, she alleged that she was exposed to explicit materials during her employment, including text messages, pornographic photographs, videos and phone calls from Ye. She also claimed she was "wrongfully terminated" from her position.
In addition to the harassment allegations, Pisciotta filed claims against West and several of his companies, alleging fraud, unpaid wages and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The lawsuit was later expanded when Pisciotta amended her complaint to include allegations of sexual assault. According to the filing, she claimed West "touched, groped, fondled, grabbed and forced himself in and on" her while she was employed by him.
A second amendment was added to the complaint in July 2025, introducing additional allegations of assault, sexual battery and oral rape. The lawsuit claimed that during a work trip in 2021, West attempted to vaginally penetrate Pisciotta with his fingers, forcibly kissed her and orally raped her.
The complaint states:
«"On one occasion, Ye attempted to vaginally penetrate Ms. Pisciotta with his fingers. On another occasion, he orally raped her without her consent. Both assaults occurred during the course of Ms. Pisciotta’s employment,"»
It further alleges that Ye subjected her to "obscene comments about her body, demanded she wear tight-fitting clothing [and] groped her on a regular basis." The complaint also claims he forced her to watch him perform sexual acts with other women, sent her sexually explicit pictures, demanded she send similar images and repeatedly pressured her to join his sexual encounters, which Pisciotta refused.
Pisciotta additionally alleged that West "offered someone the opportunity" to have sex with her in exchange for allowing him to have sex with that person's significant other.
When the lawsuit was first filed, West denied the allegations. Through a representative in 2025, he again rejected the expanded claims, describing them as "fantasy fiction."
In response to the original June 2024 filing, a representative also stated that "it is well documented how Ms. Pisciotta consistently used sexual coercion in an attempt to demand not only money but material items, namely Hermès Birkin bags, a Lamborghini and an endless quest for plastic surgery."
The settlement resolves the civil lawsuit, which court documents indicate will be withdrawn within 45 days. No details regarding the terms of the agreement have been made public.
