‎FIFA has launched an investigation into an alleged racial abuse incident involving popular streamer IShowSpeed during the FIFA World Cup Round of 32 match between Argentina and Cape Verde.

‎The alleged incident occurred on July 3 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, where the 21-year-old content creator attended Argentina's clash with Cape Verde. According to BBC, FIFA was informed of the alleged racial abuse after it was captured during IShowSpeed's livestream.

The streamer is also widely recognized as a devoted Cristiano Ronaldo supporter and is known for jokingly hate-watching Ronaldo's longtime rival, Lionel Messi, who represents Argentina.
