The cancellation followed the filing of a civil lawsuit against Davis that included allegations of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

‎The upcoming fight places Paul, who has competed 13 times with 12 victories, against one of the most decorated British boxers of his era. Anthony Joshua enters the ring with 32 professional fights, 28 wins, and 25 knockouts.
