‎Tate McRae delivered one of the most talked-about moments of her Miss Possessive World Tour during her Nashville stop on Thursday night. The pop star stunned the audience by welcoming country sensation Megan Moroney for a live duet of Moroney’s chart-topping single, “6 Months Later.”

‎Fans erupted in cheers as McRae introduced her guest with admiration. “I’m so excited to announce a special guest tonight. I’m such a massive fan,” she told the crowd before inviting Moroney onstage. Together, the pair performed the hit to a roaring response inside the packed venue.

‎Following the show, Moroney posted a selfie of the two artists with the caption, “Girls!” McRae quickly responded in the comments, calling Moroney “My queen forever.” Moroney also shared a clip of the performance on her Instagram Story, playfully tying it back to her lyrics: “Hey Tate, I think I want u back.”

‎The Nashville duet comes during a busy season for both artists. McRae is continuing her Miss Possessive World Tour, with upcoming stops across Texas and the West Coast before wrapping with a Los Angeles performance on November 8. Moroney is back on her Am I Okay? tour, which resumes Friday night in Charleston and runs through mid-October before she heads to Australia for the Ridin’ Hearts Festival.

‎The collaboration reflects a friendship that has been building over the past year. Moroney previously told Rolling Stone’s Future of Music issue that McRae once gave her blue roses along with a handwritten note, which she keeps at home.
