‎The wedding announcement followed weeks of speculation after the pair appeared together at the 2025 Emmys. Fans suspected their nuptials were close, especially after their recent red carpet appearance.
‎The Emilia Pérez actress and the acclaimed music producer became engaged in December, also sharing the milestone through Instagram. Gomez revealed her engagement ring in a post that featured the words, “forever begins now..”
‎Their professional partnership has been just as significant as their personal one. Blanco produced Gomez’s 2023 single “Single Soon” and her 2019 collaboration “I Can’t Get Enough.” In May 2025, the pair released their first joint album, I Said I Love You First. The 15-track project, issued by SMG Music, Friends Keep Secrets, and Interscope Records, paid tribute to their journey together.
‎Gomez has spoken openly about her relationship with Blanco, sharing that it feels like the most secure connection of her life. In a past interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she explained that the comfort she feels with him makes sharing glimpses of their romance on social media natural.
‎Earlier this year, during a Valentine’s Day feature with Interview magazine, the couple reflected on their bond while discussing I Said I Love You First. Gomez noted that being single for several years before meeting Blanco gave her a deeper appreciation for him. She expressed that his patience and unconditional love arrived at a time in her life when she was truly ready to receive it.
