Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Announce Separation After 19 Years of Marriage

‎Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are officially separating after 19 years of marriage, Above has confirmed.
‎The actress, 58, and the country music star, 57, first crossed paths in 2005 at the G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles, an event celebrating Australian culture and talent. Their engagement was made public the following year, leading to a wedding ceremony in Sydney in June 2006. The couple share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

‎During the early years of their marriage, Kidman organized an intervention to address Urban’s struggles with alcohol abuse, which led him to enter rehabilitation. Urban has publicly acknowledged Kidman’s role in supporting his recovery.
‎Over the past two decades, Kidman and Urban became a prominent presence at major events, including the Met Gala, Academy Awards, and Academy of Country Music Awards. Their last notable joint appearance came in April 2024, when Kidman received the AFI Life Achievement Award in Hollywood and Urban delivered a tribute onstage.
‎Kidman has remained one of Hollywood’s most celebrated figures. Ranked by Forbes as the world’s highest-paid actress in 2024, she continues to balance film and television projects. Her acclaimed performances include an Academy Award win for The Hours in 2003 and roles in Big Little Lies, Babygirl, Nine Perfect Strangers, Being the Ricardos, and The Perfect Couple. Before her marriage to Urban, she was married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, with whom she shares two children, Bella and Connor.
‎Urban has built a career as one of country music’s leading performers. With four Grammy Awards and 15 Academy of Country Music Awards, he has released 11 studio albums and served as a judge on three seasons of American Idol. His ongoing tour continues this week with a performance scheduled in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
