‎Footage shared online captured the moment the main stage was engulfed in flames, prompting concern from fans worldwide. Organizers quickly responded via the festival's official website and Instagram, confirming that a "serious incident and fire" had occurred, leaving the Mainstage "severely damaged."
‎Event organizers assured the public that the fire had not resulted in any injuries. With safety checks completed, they emphasized that the festival remains on schedule.
‎DreamVille, the on-site camping area that accommodates thousands of festivalgoers, is set to open Thursday, July 17, as originally planned. Festival coordinators also confirmed that all Global Journey travel packages, including events in Brussels and Antwerp, will proceed without interruption.
‎Efforts are now underway to develop alternate solutions for this weekend’s performances, scheduled from Friday through Sunday. Organizers stated they are “focused on finding solutions for the festival weekend” and will release further updates as they become available.
‎Despite this unexpected setback, the festival plans to launch with a partial lineup on Thursday. A full slate of EDM performances is scheduled through Sunday, with the second week of Tomorrowland slated to begin on July 24 and conclude on July 27.
