‎'The Bear' renewed for Season 5 at FX and Hulu following Season 4 finale 'Goodbye'

‎FX has officially renewed The Bear for a fifth season, ensuring that the gripping culinary drama will continue its run beyond the emotional Season 4 finale titled “Goodbye.” The renewal comes less than a week after Season 4 premiered on June 25, with all episodes streaming exclusively on Hulu. Season 5 is scheduled to debut sometime in 2026.

‎The Emmy-winning series, created by Christopher Storer, remains a cultural and critical phenomenon. Although FX has not yet released viewing data for the current season, the network reports that fan response has been overwhelming.

‎"The Bear continues to be a fan favorite worldwide, and their response to this season — as seen through incredibly high viewership — has been as spectacular as any of its previous seasons," said FX chairman John Landgraf in a statement. "Year-in and year-out, Chris Storer, the producers, cast and crew make The Bear one of the best shows on television."

‎Season 4 was filmed back-to-back with Season 3 and follows Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they fight to elevate their restaurant while facing looming financial pressures. The season continues to explore themes of perfectionism, pressure, and personal growth, set against the backdrop of high-end cuisine.

‎The ensemble cast also includes Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson, with Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon returning in recurring roles.

‎The upcoming fifth season will be executive produced by Christopher Storer, Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson, Hiro Murai, and Rene Gube. Courtney Storer returns as co-executive producer and culinary producer, with FX Productions continuing as the production studio.
