‎The English side arrived in the United States fresh from a Conference League title and having confirmed their Champions League place for the 2024-25 season via the Premier League. Expectations were moderate ahead of the global tournament, but head coach Enzo Maresca expertly guided his squad through a demanding fixture list under intense summer heat.
‎Chelsea’s progression through each stage of the tournament steadily increased their earnings. Participation alone generated £27.9 million, with group stage performances adding £4.4 million to the total. Advancing to the last 16 contributed an additional £5.5 million, followed by £9.6 million for reaching the quarter-finals. The semi-finals brought in £15.3 million, while a place in the final secured a further £21.9 million. Victory itself added £7.3 million, rounding out a staggering financial achievement.

‎The final against PSG saw standout performances from Cole Palmer, who netted twice, and recent signing Joao Pedro, who also found the back of the net. Their contributions helped Chelsea establish dominance early and maintain control throughout the match.
‎Portions of the tournament earnings have already been reinvested, with Chelsea acquiring Pedro and striker Liam Delap as they build toward the upcoming 2025-26 campaign. The club is expected to remain active in the transfer market, utilizing their newfound resources to strengthen Maresca’s squad for further domestic and international success.
