Sean 'Diddy' Combs indictment expands allegations of exploitation and sexual abuse

Prosecutors have expanded the indictment against Sean "Diddy" Combs, accusing the music mogul of coercing employees into working long hours under threats of physical, financial, and reputational harm. Among the serious claims, one alleges Combs forced an employee to engage in sexual acts with him.

The updated indictment, issued on Thursday, does not introduce new charges or victims but provides further details about the alleged operations through which Combs reportedly trafficked and assaulted women using his business network. This includes new insights into the racketeering conspiracy charges against the rapper and entrepreneur.

Combs' legal representative, Marc Agnifilo, vehemently denied the allegations, stating, “He looks forward to his day in court when it will become clear that he has never forced anyone to engage in sexual acts against their will. Many former employees stand by him, ready to testify to the dedication, hard work, and inspiration they received while building innovative, award-winning businesses.”

This enhanced indictment is part of a broader effort to strengthen the government's case, following a January indictment that included allegations involving three victims who Combs allegedly manipulated into engaging in commercial sex acts. These acts reportedly included orchestrated performances with male sex workers, often flown across state lines or internationally.

The new indictment claims Combs used various forms of control over employees, including threatening them with job loss, financial damage, and reputational harm. One specific accusation alleges Combs used physical and psychological force to compel an employee to engage in sexual acts with him.

Combs, who remains in custody at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, will face arraignment on the new charges next week. His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.
