The pair, who had been dating since May 2023, confirmed their engagement on Sunday, November 17, while walking the red carpet at the Ebony Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles. Good, 43, displayed her engagement ring while posing for photos with the Creed III star, 35, according to social media footage published by Ebony on Instagram.

During a red carpet interview with E! News, the stars revealed their engagement.
"[The] Ebony Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom," Good told the outlet, explaining why they opted to announce their engagement there.
Good was married to producer DeVon Franklin from 2012 to 2022.
Majors was convicted guilty of third-degree assault and harassment in December 2023, following a March 2023 arrest in New York.
The actor from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was arrested for reportedly abusing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Majors fiercely rejected the accusations, but he was eventually charged with assault and harassment and pled not guilty. "He has done nothing wrong," his spokeswoman told CNN at the time. "We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up."
Majors was sentenced to a year of domestic violence counseling back in April. Variety reported that he must complete a 52-week in-person domestic abuse program in Los Angeles. There are prospective prospects for his upcoming sessions to be virtual, but Majors must also continue mental health therapy and provide progress updates. The judge also issued a permanent order of protection for Jabbari and Majors. Violating the terms of his sentence might result in prison time.
Good supported Majors during his trial last year, and in June, she told Us Weekly how they helped one other get through the terrible period.
"I'm really, really proud of him," Good told Us at the Frederick Douglass Awards Dinner hosted by the New York Urban League. "It's been quite a year to say the least, and how he's handled it, how he's grown, how we've learned to dance in the rain and how we've learned to just look at God first and foremost above everything."
"He is literally my favorite person," Good gushed. "Just because of his heart, just because of the way that he's helped me grow because of his honesty, because of his laughter, his jokes and I can go on and on."
"I don't want to cry, but she's my best friend," Majors told Us. "At 34 years old, who would have thought that this would be my friend. The one thing I work for, fight for, sacrifice for. She makes me good, as cliché as that sounds."
