Andrew Garfield reveals sex scene with Florence Pugh in 'We Live in Time' went a 'little bit further' than intended
Andrew Garfield has admitted that he and Florence Pugh went a 'little bit further than they were meant to' for their sex scene in We Live In Time.

The actor, 41, plays Tobias Durand in the romance-comedy film, which also stars the actress, 28, as his love interest Almut Brühl.

Speaking ahead of its October 11 release, Andrew described how the couple became a little carried away during a'very private, intense sex scene' since they didn't hear a 'cut' call from the team.
During an appearance at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, he addressed the audience: "The scene becomes passionate, as we choreographed it."
'And we get into it, as it were, and we go a little further than we were supposed to because we didn't hear "cut" and it feels secure. And we're just like, "Ok, we'll just go into the next thing, let this progress, and carry on."
Andrew noted that he and Florence performed the intimate moment for so long that the camera operator had to turn away.
He added that at one point, both of them were telepathically expressing to each other, "This definitely feels like a longer take."
'When I look up, Stuart and our boom operator are standing in the corner. Stuart has the camera at his side and has turned into the wall.
We Live In Time tells the 'unconventional' love tale of a recent divorcee and an up-and-coming chef.
In the first trailer, Almut (Florence) and Tobias (Andrew) have a surprise meeting that transforms their lives forever.
A harsh truth is revealed through vignettes of their lives together, including falling in love, constructing a house, and starting a family, and it shakes the relationship to its core.
As they embark on a 10-year romance hampered by time constraints, they learn to cherish every moment of their unusual love tale.
The teaser depicts Almut and Tobias' first encounter in a hospital room.
Tobias, bruised and wearing a neck brace, asks Almut, 'So sorry, but do we know each other?'
'Yeah, no,' she responds, before adding that she is to blame for his injuries, having accidently hit him with her automobile.
The couple finally fall in love and have a daughter together, living a happy existence until Almut receives an unsettling diagnosis.
We Live in Time premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
